Fell House invites you to a
  Taste of Scotland

Featuring Spike McClure, Master of Whiskey for Johnny Walker

What better way to help support your historic Fell House than to sip and savor six specially selected rare scotches?  Learn all about what makes certain scotches so unique.  Hearty and delicious appetizers will be served.  Kilts encouraged!

There will also be a chance to win a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue!

Homespun History Day
 
The Northwest Bergen History Coalition is pleased to host its third annual History Day on May 18, 2013 from 10 AM to 4 PM eight historical homes and museums will be open to the public to tour and enjoy. Each site will feature a special exhibit of quilts, coverlets, samplers, and other homemade items from their collections. The museums and historic homes on the tour include  
 
The Schoolhouse Museum 650 E. Glen Ave., Ridgewood
 
The Hermitage 335 N. Franklin Turnpike, HoHoKus
 
The Fell House 475 Franklin Turnpike, Allendale
 
The Hopper-Goetschius Museum 363 E. Saddle River Rd., Upper Saddle River
 
The Old Stone House 538 Island Rd., Ramsey
 
The Mahwah Museum 201 Franklin Turnpike, Mahwah
 
The Van Allen House 3 Franklin Ave., Oakland
 
The Zabriskie House 421 Franklin Ave., Wyckoff
 
 
Tickets for admission to all eight sites are $10 a person, children 12 and under are free.
 
Starting April 8 tickets can be purchased through each of the Coalition's historical societies.  They will also be on sale at the Schoolhouse Museum in Ridgewood on Thursdays and Saturdays from 1 to 3 and Sundays 2 to 4; the Mahwah Museum on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays 1 to 4; The Hermitage Wednesday through Sunday 1 to 4; and Abma's Farm Market in Wyckoff Monday through Saturday 8to 5:30. Those wishing to purchase tickets by mail may do so by sending a request and a self-addressed stamped envelope to The Schoolhouse Museum 650 East Glen Avenue Ridgewood, NJ 07450.   Please make checks payable to the Ridgewood Historical Society.  Tickets will also be on sale at each of the sites on the day of the tour.
 
All proceeds from the ticket sales will be equally divided among the eight historical sites.  The Coalition will be selling grilled hotdogs and soda at the picnic area at the Hopper-Goetschius House Museum in Upper Saddle River.
